At the beginning, Luca Veggetti isn't easy to figure it out. I think when he first works with another artist he hides some of his cards. He wants to know you before he opens up and shows you the person inside the choreographer. While watching his rehearsals, you quickly understand the man behind the steps. The dance is precise with a zen focus of body and mind. Luca doesn't stand still during a rehearsal. He follows the dancers around the studio studying every nuance of their movement. Inside, he is dancing with them. At first, as a photographer it is a frustrating experience. Luca is always in the way! As time passed, I learned to treat Luca as one of the dancers and I think he felt the same way about me. We moved together. It worked.
