When I was 12 years old, my best friend's father was a professional photographer. I didn't realize at the time he was an artistic inspiration and I began photographing seriously early in my life. I always thought I'd be a doctor or a scientist but my high school photography teacher read my palm and thought differently. After four years of college, studying to become a doctor, I moved to New York City on a lark and never looked back.  It's been a photographic odyssey of over 35 years and the experience has been wonderful. I've spent hours on Red Square, days wandering Death Valley, and years in theaters photographing beautiful dancers. My present projects include VISION magazine, the "mirror" portraits and my new up close and "intimate" portrait series.
